Kerala Floods 2018
Kerala, our home state witnessed the worst flood of the century during the period 15th August 2018 to 22nd August 2018.At a time when the government was preoccupied with the evacuation of the people stranded in flood hit areas, it is the kind souls of the society who provided food and clothing in the relief centers.
In just half a day, the Nellimoottil Kudumbayogam raised new clothes and material ranging from sanitary napkins to nighties, mats, bed sheets etc. worth Rupees half a lakh.
The materials were handed over to the Deputy Tahsildar, Pandalm on 18th August 2018 at St. Thomas Orthodox School, Pandalam where the government ran collection and relief centers.
